Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC) - Online Support Group

We are patients living with primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), here for you!

Have any of you had a live donor liver transplant? My family and friends have been helping find a donor, but it is hard. I am a blood type O, and my family under 55 years old is very small. Only my daughter has been tested.

Where do you go from here? How do you find a donor? Any tips? Thank you so much.

Paul

Hi Paul,

I apologize I don't know anything about the process --  but I will be praying for you and your family! I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and pray that God will give you guidance and the support you need.

God Bless,

Stacy

You are right.  He does give us guidance.  We just got a donor that is a perfect match.  All things to happen for a reason.  And, now I will move on to the next phase of actually getting a transplant.  It has been a long time and I have learned a lot about life, patience and challenges.

I hope all goes well for you.
